Popular hair styles for guys with short hair?

I'm 15, sort of athletic and have short hair. It's short enough to where you can see my whole forhead, but it isn't a buzz-cut.

A few girls at school told me to get it spiked. I don't really want to do that because it would make me look gay (yes, I've tried spiky hair, and it just isn't me).

Gel is not an option for me, but hair spray is lol.

I usually don't do a lot with my hair, but it just got so damn hot that I had to get it cut (i was going with the shaggy look).

Any good ideas, pictures, etc.??

maybe do a little faux hawk... that would be so cute. just gather your hair in the middle and add some hairspray so it stays... ideally you should use a little gel but if you absolutely won't then just use a little extra hairspray.

well i think it all depends on what type of hair you have if you just have short hair i would spike it up a bit and let it be but if you have short curly hair i would let it be wild and natural

Hey, how about getting it highlighted? I would go to a good hairdresser and ask their opinion. They usually have good taste and take into consideration hair type, facial structure, and all of that for a style. If it's really short, you may have to wait until it grows out. If gel isn't an option, there are also products out there that are quick style and dry that are sprays or a really sticky gel that you dab on fingers and then run your fingers through your hair because it is dry in 30 secs and that's it. No changing it after it dries. LOL ! Good luck!

i trim it to about 1/8" and thats it (im lazy)

i trim every couple of months and thats about it

i used to have long hair (down to my neck/shoulders) looked like a mop, i got it cut like once a year, i like it short a whole lot more
